Join the women of Christ Church for a monthly ’nibbles and drinks' party on Thursday evenings from 6 to 8 o'clock. In classic Georgetown style, these delightful gatherings are hosted in the homes of fellow parishioners, offering the perfect way to reconnect with old friends and to make new ones. Mark your calendar, invite a friend, and show up ready to encourage and be encouraged as we share together in God’s gracious gift of life. To catch the next one, contact Mother Meredith Olsen.
Women's Ministry
The women's ministry creates spaces for this unique cross section of our parish to connect, strengthen each other, and deepen our capacity to become Christ's agents of change in the world. Our mixture of lighthearted social gatherings, heavy-hitting Bible studies, and intentional retreat spaces fosters a multi-generational community of wise, loving, and courageous women.

Women's Bible Study (Fall 2026)
How does the Old Testament help us understand who Jesus is and what He came to inaugurate? How do we make sense of our current hardships in light of God’s eternal plan for us?
Join Mother Tiffany and a dynamic group of women as we tackle one of the densest but most rewarding books in the Bible. Positioned on the other side of Jesus’ inauguration of the church, Hebrews reflects back on the development of the pilgrim people of God in the Old Testament, offering a parallel interpretive commentary on what God was doing for them and, through Christ, what He is doing for us. Hebrews pulls back the curtain on history, on heaven, on suffering, and on our future as it offers much needed encouragement to believers struggling to persevere through the challenges of living as faithful people of God.
Wherever you are in your progression into the Bible, this eye-opening study will strengthen your faith and connect you to the whole story of God’s people, then and now. Our conversations take place on alternate Monday evenings from 6 to 7:30 in the Memorial Room (with a zoom option available). To view a brief introductory video, click
