Thrift Shop

Located on the lower level of Linthicum Hall, Christ Church's Thrift Shop is open on Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.


Through the years, the Thrift Shop has raised almost $600,000 in support of a variety of organizations.


In addition to non-profit charities listed below, The Thrift Shop supports within The Episcopal Diocese of Washington DC:


The Christ Church (Georgetown) Discretionary Fund,

The Diocese Memorial Scholarship Fund,

and The Episcopal Church Women.

Donations


The Thrift Shop is happy to accept accessories such as handbags, shoes, costume jewelry, scarves, and hostess gifts; and household items such as dinnerware, flatware, glassware, cookware, and bake-ware.


Donations may be delivered to the Parish Office on weekdays, 9:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. All contributions are tax-deductible.


Guidelines for donations:

  • All items must be clean.
  • Clothing must be on hangers or in boxes. No plastic bags, please.
  • Due to limited space, we cannot accept large suitcases, computers, printers, televisions, or other electronic equipment.
