Bible Studies

Bite-Sized Bible Study

Would you like to study scripture more deeply, but have difficulty finding the time? Then grab a cup of coffee and join fellow parents of nursery and Sunday School-aged children for a team-led, 30-minute exploration of passages from various books of the Bible. No preparation, keen discussion, and relevant application. The group  gathers on Sundays from 10:15 to 10:45 a.m., in the Memorial room on the third floor of the Parish Hall. Nursery care for infants and toddlers, as well as supervised, age-appropriate activities for older children, are   provided on the ground and first floors of the same building. For more information, contact parishioners  Julia Ainsley, Megan Murton or Matthew Fredericks.

Thursday Morning Bible Study

Revelation (spring 2026)

This term, the Thursday Morning Bible Study is reading, praying, and talking our way through Revelation. The vivid descriptions and startling imagery of this ancient writing show us God’s world as it truly is—like a historical MRI with accompanying soundtrack!

No preparation is required to join meaningfully in each fortnight's discussion. However, the book is challenging, and your own study will deepen your understanding of and appreciation for the text. Parishioners and guests of all ages and stages are most welcome.

Sessions will take place on Jan. 22 , Feb. 5 and 19, March 5 and 19, April 2, 16, and 30, and May 14 in Keith Hall from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m sharp. A zoom option is available. For more information, contact parishioners Dr. Ernest Clark or Virginia Mentz.

Women's Bible Study

Who is the Jesus we meet in the pages of Matthew’s gospel? Together we will consider how Jesus fulfills Isaiah’s prophecies of who the Messiah would be, inaugurates a kingdom that upends human expectations of greatness, and calls us to participate in that kingdom’s way of life, including the work of barrier-crossing mission.

This spring, join Mother Tiffany Clark and a theologically diverse group of women for interactive discussion, in-depth examination, and personal application of sacred scripture. To view an intro video to Matthew, click here. To receive the bi-weekly reading guides, contact Mother Tiffany Clark.
