The Reverend Meredith K. Olsen, Associate Rector
Mother Meredith is a native of the Philadelphia suburbs. She earned a Bachelor of Music in Church Music from Birmingham Southern College in Birmingham, Alabama. She went directly from there to seminary at Emory University’s Candler School of Theology in Atlanta, GA. Mother Meredith moved to NYC to pursue a Master of Sacred Theology in Liturgics and an Anglican Studies Diploma at The General Theological Seminary in 2004 — steps taken to complete the Episcopal ordination requirements.
Mother Meredith has served a number of parishes in her 21 years of ordained ministry, most recently at All Saints, Chevy Chase. She has served as a hospital chaplain at Hopkins Bayview and University of Maryland St. Joseph’s Hospital. She also served as an Army chaplain in the Maryland Army National Guard.
Mother Meredith loves endurance sports and is a regular competitor in triathlon, running, and cycling races. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young adult daughters.
